Our very first studio project at the University of Nottingham was to design an artist's retreat at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park in West Yorkshire.

I particularly enjoyed the whimsical nature of this design hidden away in the woodlands. Designing for a specific artist, Laura Ellen Bacon, allowed me to examine the particular needs, preferences and natural aesthetics of a hypothetical client and design a getaway perfect for cultivating creativity.
