Project Myemyela - Fundraising
Team Target: £40,000
Individual Target: £1000 (materials and supplies) + £1000 (flights and accommodation)
The entire project was funded by the dedicated work of the students involved - We all came up with creative ideas to raise money...

Cascade Grant

Myself and a fellow student on the team worked hard to form a proposal towards the Nottingham Impact Cascade Fund in order to try and win funding towards the Project. Our proposal was so well received that we were granted £13000 - the largest grant ever given by the organisation. This input was fundamental in ensuring we met our team target and allowed the project to go ahead!

We then had the privilege of presenting our project to members of the Nottingham Impact scheme, including the Vice Chancellor of the University of Nottingham.
