I, along with my design team, organised, curated, resourced and hosted an exhibition of art and architecture with all proceeds going towards Project Myemyela. The evening was a resounding success; we displayed a diverse collection of artwork from external professional artists and art students, as well as work from students within the architecture department at the University of Nottingham.

 

Along with a string quartet, light nibbles and wine, the exhibition was greatly enjoyed by all. Staff from within in the university were extremely impressed with the result of our hard work and planning, the course director in particular commenting that the scale and success of the evening was unprecedented from an event organised from within the department. The combined money raised from both a small entry fee on the door and the purchasing of confectionary inside totalled £xxx which we were delighted to contribute to the purchasing of materials and equipment for the Project.
